Welcome to Cozy Ragnarok Online

A new headgear collection begins today with 7 custom headgear. The next pieces are planned for Friday, 6 November (WIB) - watch the news for each one.

New today:
- Holy Evil Helm - upper costume, appearance only (no stats) - a prize in the Wing Prize Machine, Prontera (146, 107).
- Gemmed Angel Wing - lower costume, appearance only (no stats) - joins Holy Evil Helm as a prize in the Wing Prize Machine, Prontera (146, 107).
- Horned Knight Helm - upper headgear, 1 card slot. Reduces damage taken from Demon race monsters by 7% and gives MDEF +3. At +7 refine it reduces Demon damage by a further 5% (12% in total); at +9 it also gives DEF +3. Crafted by the Hat Maker in Prontera (170, 162) from 12 Oridecon, 12 Elunium, 6 Gold and 6,000,000 Zeny.

Also new: Angel Heart, Deviling Helm, Evil Poring Hat and Pincer Arms (costumes, appearance only) can now be found in Gift Boxes. Gift Boxes drop from monsters, come out of some other boxes, and are also sold in the Cash Shop. Prizes arrive unidentified, so keep a Magnifier handy, and keep one inventory slot free - a prize that does not fit falls to the ground.

Costumes carry no stats. Wearable headgear stays below the server's power ceiling: no piece grants a status immunity, and none has more than one card slot.

Where do I change jobs?
VIP and VIP++ members can change jobs instantly at the Job Master in Prontera (107, 251). Everyone else takes the classic first-job quests: Swordman in Izlude, Mage in Geffen, Archer in Payon, Acolyte in the Prontera Church, Merchant in Alberta and Thief at the Morroc Pyramids. How does @autoattack work?
@autoattack is a VIP++ perk. Type @autoattack on its own to open the settings window (which monsters to hunt or skip, which skills to use), then @autoattack on / off to switch it. It attacks the nearest monster for you, and your EXP and drops are reduced by 50% while it runs. @autobuff (VIP) and @autopot (everyone) work the same way. Feedback and requests - now private and answered
You can now send the team ideas, problems and complaints and get a written answer:
- in game: @feedback <your idea> for suggestions, or @request <your message> for anything else (15-255 characters);
- on the website: log in, then Account > My Feedback (pick a category and write as much as you like). Bugs and crashes still go to Account > My Bug Reports, where you can attach screenshots and logs.
Only you and the team can see your messages. Each one gets a status (New, Under review, Planned, Done or Declined); when the team replies you get an e-mail (if your account has a valid address) and a notice the next time you log in. Why there are no GMs online
Cozy RO deliberately has no GMs playing or online. It keeps the game fair: no favouritism, no special treatment and no room for abuse. That does not mean nobody is watching - the team monitors the server constantly through behind-the-scenes systems, assisted by AI. To keep our busiest towns walkable, vending shops, buying stores, @autotrade and @afk are no longer allowed on town roads - the paved streets, plus a small strip along them. This applies in Prontera, Geffen, Aldebaran, Lighthalzen, Hugel and Rachel (Payon, Izlude, Morroc and all other towns have no road rule). In Prontera the main cross avenues and the fountain plaza keep a slightly wider strip clear.

Everywhere else in those towns - squares, gardens, the space between houses - is fine, and fields, dungeons and all other maps work exactly as before. Shops must also stand at least 5 cells away from any NPC (this used to be 3), and @afk in the towns above needs the same 5 cells of space. Chat rooms are not affected by the road rule; they only need to be 5 cells away from NPCs.

If the game says "You can't open a shop here", "You can't use @afk here" or "You can't use @autotrade here", just step off the road and away from NPCs and try again.

Server restart on Thursday 22 October at 06:00 WIB (Wednesday 21 October, 23:00 UTC): to clear the roads, shops and AFK characters will NOT be brought back after this one restart. Log in afterwards and set up your shop again in a free spot. From the next restart on, everything works as usual again.

A client update is ready. It adds the art for new headgear arriving on Thursday, 22 October at 06:00 WIB (Wednesday 21 October, 23:00 UTC). The game server will restart for a few minutes at that time to switch them on.

To update, close the game and start it again with the CozyRO Patcher. The patcher rewrites cozy.grf, which can take 1-3 minutes - please let it finish and do not close it while it works.
